A greener Dreamforce
This year, we've gone even further to reduce the environmental impact of Dreamforce. And we're asking you to do the same. If you're lucky, you could win some great green prizes by entering our awesome Eco-raffle! Every eco-friendly effort will count as an entry—do more and increase your chances of winning (raffle details and rules).
Do your part—every action helps!
- Take public transportation. We encourage all Dreamforce attendees to use public transportation whenever possible. Visit our travel page to find easy options available to you.
- Ride your bike. Bike to the event to save carbon emissions! Bike racks are available on Howard Street in front of the Moscone Center South.
- Recycle and compost. Put all trash in the correct bins and carefully consider what collateral you take from the Expo Hall to reduce waste.
- Bring your own reusables. Bring your own reusable water bottle and coffee mug to cut down on single-use bottles and cups.
We're doing our part – because it's the right thing to do
- We'll have water stations with biodegradable cups throughout the venue to reduce the use of disposable water bottles.
- We serve local foods (meaning minimal travel miles) whenever possible, and we'll donate leftover food to local food banks when appropriate.
- We'll offer biodegradable or recyclable placeware and utensils at all meals.
- We handle all event marketing campaigns online and via email to reduce printed material, and we'll keep printed conference collateral to a minimum.
- If it's necessary to provided printed materials, we'll print on recycled paper with soy/vegetable-based ink whenever possible.
